About: With its brick walls and Alice in Wonderland mural, No Idea bar is a comfortable, casual place to meet for a beer. The crowd is easygoing, and the bartenders are friendly and competent. If you are alone, this is a good place to hang out without feeling like a stranger. It is easy to strike up a conversation at the bar and you can always watch television if you’re bored. About: Established in 1892 and surviving the Prohibition Era, the Old Town Bar is indeed old, and it is definitely a bar in the traditional sense (filled with lots of drinkers and smokers). However, it is also a restaurant with plenty of atmosphere and good bar food. The old booths, tin ceilings, frosted glass, beveled mirrors and mahogany bar all add to the charm.
